A ton of exciting things happened this month! - Danny and Sarayu received Spring Undergraduate Research Awards! Congrats! - Danny is now a K-INBRE undergraduate research fellow! - Coral and Cael went to the AI/Genomics/Development Conference at the Stowers Institute in Kansas City! - Coral taught the Xenopus course at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratories! -Coral hosted her scientific hero Dr. Carl Wu from Johns Hopkins University for the Newmark Lecture! Thanks for visiting us Carl. Our lab was awarded a 2-year pilot grant from the NIH Center of Biomedical Research Center for Molecular Analysis of Disease Pathways!! This grant will fund an exciting new project that combines imaging and genomics to study the effect of ploidy on heterochromatin establishment and maintenance in Xenopus embryos! https://cmadp.cobre.ku.edu/
